Aydın Sarman

Creative Director & Composer

Aydın Sarman is one of Turkey’s most renowned television and film composers. He is a composer and creative leader who has carried his decades-long, narrative-focused music production experience into the game industry. Born in 1972, Sarman completed his musical education at the Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory. Over a career spanning more than thirty years, he has composed hundreds of original works for television series, films, and album projects.

Having shaped the musical identity of productions that reached wide audiences, this experience strongly reflects his expertise in storytelling, dramatic structure, and atmosphere building. In game projects, Aydın Sarman approaches music not merely as a linear narrative element, but as a system responsive to player interaction. He can skilfully employ layered and adaptive music techniques. During the composition process, the music is designed in multiple intensity levels, transition variations, and situation-based layers. This approach enables the creation of scalable and technically sustainable music systems that can be seamlessly integrated through industry-standard middleware such as FMOD and Wwise. As a result, the music transforms into a living structure that adapts in real time to the game’s pace and player behavior.

Aydın Sarman’s transition into the game industry materialized through his collaborations with the team at Ranke Studios. He composed the entire soundtrack for Lost In Your Eyes, a game developed by Ranke Studios. Throughout this process, the music was designed and integrated in close alignment with in-game systems, scene transitions, and atmospheric changes. This experience demonstrated that Sarman is not only creatively strong but also technically and structurally proficient in game development workflows.
